Via Ferrata Sokolov Put follows a dramatic limestone wall on the southern cliffs of Romanija mountain near Sarajevo. A short forest approach leads quickly to the base of the vertical rock face.

From the start the ferrata climbs upward using steel steps and cables, gaining height above the forest below. Exposed traverses open wide views across the Romanija plateau and the surrounding mountains.

One of the highlights of the climb is the famous suspension bridge. After crossing this airy section, the route continues across the limestone face before the descent follows a scenic forest trail back to the mountain hut.
