Description of Jablanica Canyon

The adventure begins with a scenic drive from Mostar towards the mountains of Prenj and the town of Jablanica. After reaching the starting point, a short forest hike leads us down towards the river that has shaped this beautiful canyon.

As we enter the canyon, the landscape quickly changes. Smooth limestone walls rise around us while the clear mountain river forms natural pools, small waterfalls and narrow passages between the rocks.

Moving through the canyon means swimming in refreshing pools, climbing over rocks, passing small waterfalls and discovering hidden corners shaped by water and time. In some sections we descend small drops using ropes or natural rock steps, adding a real sense of adventure.

What to Bring For This Canyoning Adventure

To enjoy the Jablanica canyoning experience comfortably, we recommend bringing suitable clothing and a few essential items for outdoor activities.

Please bring:

• sturdy hiking shoes and water shoes with good grip
• swimsuit
• towel
• sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses or hat)
• at least 1 litre of water per person
• small snack or light food

All technical equipment including helmet, life jacket and waterproof bags is provided by your guide. Helmets and life jackets are mandatory for children under 16 years old.
